Pit Stop Practice

Before Breakfast this morning the SBR Pit Crew did 20mins of Pit Stop Practice. Knowing that the Clipsal 500 can be won or lost in the pits definitely plays on the minds of the SBR Crew so practice makes for perfect and hopefully today SBR can service car 4 and 9 without any problems in todays race.

Studio Shoot

On Monday 4 February 2008 Stone Brothers Racing took their two V8 Supercar Championship Series race cars into a photographic studio session to capture the 2008 liveries, drivers and merchandise.

The JELD-WEN Motorsport and SP Tools Racing Falcons arrived in SBR’s race transporter at Red Brick Studios at 11:00am.

Inside, our Merchandise crew of Chris Wilson, Anna Stone and Nick Stone and our PR Manager Jenny Thompson all met up with photographers Scott Wensley and Mark Horsburgh.

Mark and Scotty had the cameras and lights ready to go so our truckie unloaded both race cars and we started to photograph the freshly painted and signed SP Tools Racing BF Falcon.

New SBR driver Shane van Gisbergen got in on the action with photos of him along side his new look V8 Supercar.

Once we had the required shots of car nine, we marked all the angles so we could replicate the same shots with the JELD-WEN Motorsport Falcon.

The size of Redbrick Studios allows for both cars to be photographed together so we added the JELD-WEN Motorsport Falcon and took some shots of team-mates Shane and James Courtney with their respective cars.

Then it was car-four’s turn in the limelight, with James finishing the car session with the JELD-WEN Motorsport Falcon.

To finish up the day we got some photos of James and Shane in their new team shirts and some of the 2008 SBR merchandise range. The day finished up about 6pm.
